Browne Family Scholarship

A scholarship providing financial assistance for college related expenses for needy and deserving students.

Bruce T. Williams Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will provide financial assistance to current Iroquois Job Corps students who are participating in Job Corps’ Advanced Career Training Program and are pursuing a 1-year certification or 2-year Associate’s degree at Genesee Community College.

Call Farms Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to an Oakfield-Alabama School District resident who demonstrates academic performance or potential and exhibits financial need.

Chapin International Inc. Scholarship

This scholarship may be awarded to first or second year full-time students from the GLOW area enrolled in business-related disciplines who demonstrate financial hardship or need. May renew for the second year providing a 2.0 average or better is maintained.

Christiano Family Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for Livingston County students enrolled in the nursing program and demonstrate outstanding performance and financial need.

Claims Recovery Financial Services Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial support to deserving full-time students who are residents of Orleans County.

Clark Patterson Lee Scholarship Fund

The Clark Patterson Lee Scholarship Fund may be awarded to a first or second year full-time student who resides in Wyoming County and demonstrates financial need. Awards may be granted to students enrolled in the math and science programs, with a preference to students majoring in engineering science.

Cobblestone Country Federal Credit Union Scholarship Fund

Colonel James D. Fraser Health Careers Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to Orleans County students seeking degrees in healthcare related professions and demonstrating financial need.

Creative Food Ingredients, Inc. Award

This scholarship is awarded to a Creative Food Ingredients, Inc. employee or relative of an employee who demonstrates academic promise or achievement. Applications for this scholarship require the signature of a Creative Food Ingredients representative.

Dan Winegar Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will provide financial assistance to Genesee Community College students who graduated from Batavia High School and demonstrate academic and career promise.

Dansville Area Scholarship Trust

This scholarship is awarded to Dansville area residents who demonstrate qualities such as good citizenship, personal accomplishment or academic achievement and make evident a firm desire for career success.

David Worthington Mathematics Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to full-time or part-time students who show potential and promise in the field of mathematics, or who are preparing for careers in this field.

Davison Scholarship Fund

This award is for students from the Monroe County area who demonstrate a strong will/desire to work hard to achieve academic goals.

Denniston K. Wood Art Scholarship

Awards from this scholarship will be made to students pursuing degrees or certificates and exhibit a deep academic, professional or career interest in art. Preference for awards will be given to students who demonstrate strong academic performance or potential as artists, and who demonstrate financial hardship or need.

Dolores M. Chiocco Physical Education and Sport Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to Genesee Community College students who are enrolled in their second year of studies in a Physical Education, Sport Management, or Fitness and Recreation Management programs and who have earned a 3.0 GPA.

Dupin New Beginning Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are pursuing degrees in the Physical Therapist Assistant program on a full-time or part-time basis. While not exclusionary criteria, preference for awards will be given to students who are greater than 35 years old, have been involuntarily separated from previous employment, and who need financial assistance to begin or continue their college education.

First Niagara Bank Scholarship

A scholarship supporting students demonstrating exemplary academic achievement, leadership, and service.

Fish Family Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial support to deserving students pursuing study in Mathematics or Information Technology, with preference given to students who face financial hardship or unmet financial need and with preference given to students who are residents of Wyoming County.

Genesee County Chamber of Commerce Tourism Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a Genesee County student who demonstrates academic excellence and career potential in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Recipient invited to chamber meeting the third Wednesday in December.

Genesee-Orleans Homemakers Inc. Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to residents of Genesee and Orleans County who intend to pursue careers in the nursing or health-related professions with intent to specialize in geriatric care.

Genesee/Livingston County Student of Excellence

This scholarship provides financial assistance to Genesee Community College students who reside in Genesee or Livingston counties, and who show academic promise.

George M. Donohue Scholarship

A scholarship fund created in memory of George M. Donohue, providing financial assistance to students who aspire to enter the teaching profession and who demonstrate financial need.

Gioiosa Family Scholarship

Awards from this scholarship will provide financial assistance to students enrolled full-time at Genesee Community College.

Gordon and Peggy Lamb Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are pursuing degrees on a full-time basis in the College’s Veterinary Technical program or other related or similar fields.

Graham Corporation Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a Graham Corporation employee or relative of an employee who demonstrates superior academic achievement. Application for this scholarship requires the signature of a Graham Corporation representative.

Hillcrest Industries Scholarship

Awards from this scholarship will provide financial assistance to students who will be attending classes on a full-time basis and have graduated from Attica Central School District. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate academic performance, demonstrate unmet financial need or who are pursuing studies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering , or Mathematics).

Hollie Ann and Nicole Lee Ruck Scholarship

Awards from this scholarship will be given to graduates of Attica Central School and are enrolled full-time basis in the School of Nursing or Developmental Disabilities program.

Horace J. Lazarony Sr. Hospitality Management Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates superior academic achievement, and is pursuing a career in the hospitality field.

This scholarship is awarded to a student who exhibits financial need.

This scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing degrees in the College’s Nursing program. Preference for awards is given to students who show persistence in the face of adversity in their studies, and who show a serious unmet financial need or financial hardship.

John Arnot Mumford Scholarship

The John Arnot Mumford Scholarship recognizes students enrolled in business and commerce programs at Genesee Community College, with preference given to students who demonstrate leadership or service to their community

A scholarship fund providing financial assistance to deserving Genesee Community College students who are graduates of Notre Dame High School of Batavia.

Laura Hillman Award

This scholarship is awarded to an Arcade area resident who exhibits financial need, and demonstrates academic promise.

LeRoy Rotary Club Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a deserving student residing in the LeRoy School District.

Livingston County Scholarship

A scholarship providing assistance to worthy and deserving students from Livingston County.

M.P. Lyon Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed 30 hours of college credit at Genesee Community College, with a solid academic record (minimum GPA of 3.0) and who have demonstrated involvement in one or more community/college volunteer service activities. Preference will be given to students over the age of 25.

Mancuso Family Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to business students who demonstrate academic excellence and career potential.

Medina Area Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to worthy and deserving students who reside in Medina or surrounding communities.

Michael J. and Ellen M. Ryan Scholarship for Excellence

Awards will be made to Genesee students who demonstrate qualities of determination and steadfastness in pursuit of excellence, display significant leadership or volunteer service, or the resolute pursuit of personal and career goals in the face of challenges or obstacles.

Michael J. Bohn Sr. Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing degrees or certificates on a full-time basis in Hospitality, Food Processing Technology, or related programs that may be established in the future.

Miles Orleans County Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to an Orleans County resident who demonstrates superior academic achievement and exhibits financial need.

Military Service Appreciation Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals who have served in the U.S. military, their spouses, children or grandchildren. Priority given to students pursuing study in business, health, technology or teaching.

Monica Hale Dawson 1972 Alumna Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a full-time Genesee Community College student who faces serious financial need or financial hardship to begin or continue their education.

Morton Salt Scholarship

This scholarship fund provides financial assistance to students living in the Wyoming and Livingston County communities served by Morton Salt.

Supply Chain Management-NASPO Scholarship

The Supply Chain Management – NASPO Scholarship Fund provides funding for a scholarship to a student pursuing study and a degree in Supply Chain Management, and ideally one who has expressed an interest in public procurement.

Susan Dougherty Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship providing financial assistance for students who demonstrate suitable academic performance or potential, and are economically disadvantaged or demonstrate non-recurring financial need that might prevent them from beginning or continuing in classes.

Taylor Scholarship Fund

The Taylor Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to students who are pursuing degrees or certificates on a full-time basis.

The Clearway Energy Solar Electric Technician Scholarship

The purpose of The Clearway Energy Solar Electric Technician Scholarship is to recognize students enrolled in the Solar Technician Certificate or AAS Program who are (a) high-performing, (b) demonstrated excellence in practical skills, and (c) interested in a hands-on career as a technician on utility scale or commercial and industrial size PV facilities. The scholarship will provide financial assistance for Genesee Community College students for the purpose of tuition, fees, and other educational expenses related to attendance or campus residence, incurred while in attendance in credit bearing courses.

Theresa Zinni Harrison Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to second year nursing students who demonstrate academic success and financial need.

Topolski Family Scholarship

The Topolski Family Scholarship will provide financial assistance to students enrolled full-time at Genesee Community College.

The Topolski Volleyball Scholarship will provide financial assistance to students enrolled full-time at Genesee Community College, who excel in academics and who have demonstrated excellent volleyball skills.

Veteran’s Education Scholarship

This scholarship award for returning veterans is intended to augment federal benefits to help veterans obtain vital career training at Genesee Community College.

Virginia Carr Mumford Art Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial support to students demonstrating strong skills, aptitudes and promise in the visual and fine arts.

Western New York Native American Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to deserving full- or part- time Genesee Community College students who are able to provide documentation of tribal enrollment or affiliation by a signed statement from a recognized leader of the Six Nations with their scholarship application.
